Hi my lovely readers..
I hope you guys are having a good time?
Did you Know “dungarees” were called “dungri”?
Not many of us tends to know about the history of a particular outfit unless we have keen interest for it.
I did a little research on my outfit today and discovered some intriguing history. I’m thrilled to share!!.
Dungarees were first mentioned in a dockside village called “Dongri” located in Bombay(now known as Mumbai), India in the 17th century. It was preferred by the workers and slaves. The Hindi name of this cloth was “dungri”. Dungri was exported to England for manufacturing purposes. Englishmen began to call “dungri”cloth a little different, which later became “dungaree”. They became fashionable in the later half of the 40s and by the start of the 50s, they gained wider acceptance as a casual wear because they are comfortable, easy to wear and practical.
Despite the fact that everyone loves explicit hair I prefer a messy hair which helps me create any form of hairstyle easily without much effort.
My head-wear was inspired by “Dastar”.
As much as I enjoy wearing a pair of comfortable heels, I will always love the fact that it portrays an independent and bold look.
I hope You guys like my styling.
I would be glad if you share your opinion in the comment section down below.
Thankyou for your time and support.
